Storing and transferring files

According to the CETE Implementation Guide:

Student Evidence Folios are to be maintained and stored locally after the assessment is completed. The Rater Worksheets for each of the three raters should be added to the Folios.  Materials should be retained for five years.

Audits

Every year the state pulls a sample of Alternate Assessment portfolios to review and compare to the scores. Auditing is an important tool in determining the future direction of the assessment, making needed changes, and providing adequate support and training to educational professionals.
